As He was drawing near—already on the way down the Mount of Olives—the whole multitude of his disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen, saying, "Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord! I would have never guessed that I would be talking about American Idol in consecutive blogs but...wow! The opening song that the final 8 contestants sang was "Shout to the Lord." Yeah, last week we heard the Clark Brothers do "This Little Light of Mine" and this week the final eight do "Shout to the Lord!"
This is American Idol? Apparently the "Idol Gives Back" show ended last night with "Shout to the Lord" but replaced "My Jesus" with "My Shepherd." Tonight they sang the song with no changing of the words.
